I'm not really a fan of snow. I like watching Owen (Leslie and Dave's dog, whom I walk while unemployed) bound through thick snow, but aside from that and the fact that it makes things pretty, I just find it annoying. I can now add, “Walking through light snow while decked out in a nice suit.” I had two interviews at Los Alamos National Bank today and I had on shiny black shoes, a Jantzen custom white shirt, a wool vest, a red and blue tie like the one my grandfather wore, black trousers and my almost houndstooth Canali jacket (not what I wear to an interview on Wallstreet, but good for Los Alamos). It was snowing and I was a huge fan of seeing it fall on the jacket while I strided toward the doors with the Jens Leckman song below in my head, prepared to throw down for my interviews. Snow and nice clothes compliment each other.
